The Yellow Stick is a 100% cocoa butter (theobroma oil) stick by Cococare. Cococare, a company in New Jersey, specializes in cocoa butter and a variety of products for health and beauty. Cocoa butter is a natural fat extracted from cocoa bean. Not only have I used this product as a skin moisturizer, but it is also great as a lip balm. I've also heard that it works well  on stretch marks and scar marks so I am currently using it on my scar which I got from falling on cement.

This little product is amazing and I am amused by the great number of uses. It is in a perfect size and shape to fit in your handbag. Also, it smells very good, like chocolate! When rubbed on your body, palms, or lips, it will melt because it melts at body temperature so it is very easy to use. One thing about this product is that it may be hard to use if you are trying to apply it on a place that is not warm enough to melt it. When I tried to apply it on to the top of my hands, it doesn't melt. It may also be hard to apply it if you are outside in a cold environment. Other than that, I love this product. One little natural stick - so many uses.

I bought The Yellow Stick from iHerb.com for a low low price of $1.41. iHerb.com also have a ton of other products with very low prices, so definitely worth checking them out. Their delivery service is also fast and reliable, from my experience. I'm very satisfied with their service and this product I ordered and I plan to order another stick as well as trying some other products they offer!
Opinions are my own. Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments section.

Ajisai, known for its fresh and authentic sushi, is located in Kerrisdale and may be better known as 'the sushi place behind London Drugs.
Special assorted sushi: red tuna, salmon, hamachi,
toro, unagi, amaebi, unichopped
scallop, tekka maki ~$20

My friends and I arrived at the restaurant half an hour before its closing time and we were afraid that we won't be able to finish the food we were planning to order. To our surprise, the people there were all very friendly and welcoming. In fact, the waitress kept on refilling our green tea even though they were closed. (I love green tea!) While they were wrapping up and cleaning the restaurant, they let us stay to eat, chat, and continue drinking green tea. Great service!

If you come here, you must get some sashimi as its all very fresh. Just look at the colour of the salmon - very appetizing. They have a bunch of combos, but unfortunately none of them were 100% for me as I don't eat certain fish or raw things. I still ended up getting combo A even though I don't eat raw tuna and I'm not a fan of the BC roll as I don't like fish skin. The sashimi salad had slices of fresh sashimi, corn flakes, shrimp, and all kinds of different greens and alfafa sprouts (yum!). As you can see, the special assorted sushi comes with a variety of sushi and is a great one if you eat all kinds of raw fishes.

What do "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "the Alphabet Song" have in common? Of course, the same tune! I was a kid when I first discovered this and I got super excited that I made my friends sing one while I sang the other. I've always thought that Mozart composed the tune, but after a little research, it seems like that's not true.  The tune is originally from a French song called "Ah! vous dirai-je, Maman".

Earth Day takes place annually and it is designated to increase appreciation of the earth's environment as well as raise awareness of the issues that are threatening it. Hopefully, more people will be aware and take some action into helping our environment. Currently, more than 190 countries celebrate Earth Day!

In the Cup serves Korean food and they opened last month in the basement of the Student Union Building (SUB) of UBC, replacing the Mediterranean place. I've seen long line-ups at this place already and seems like they are doing pretty well. That isn't surprising as the SUB has a range of Japanese, Chinese, Italian (pasta), and Western food, but Korean. Before In the Cup opened, the only place on campus for Korean food would be at the village, which is not as convenient or fast to go to.

Tteokbokki (in the cup) $3
Tteokbokki 떡볶이 (or dotpoki as I'd like to say) is basically rice cakes in special sauce that is hot and spicy. I fell in love with tteokbokki the first time I tried it. I think I really like chewy things. In the Cup sells tteokbokki for $3 in a cup or $5 in a bowl. I got cup-sized and I realized how convenient it was to travel (and eat) with it. The rice cakes were absolutely one of the bests I've ever had. They were warm, tender, and chewy - just the way I like it.
