It's December and time to get into Christmas spirit, if you haven't done so already. A great way is to watch Christmas movies (with the family). I watched A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (HK3D) about two weeks ago, even though it was early for a Xmas movie. (Why did it come out so early?) This is the 3rd movie in this naughty comedy series, but I haven't seen the first 2, so I won't be able to compare. Now that I've seen the 3rd one, I would like to see the first 2!

I liked the storyline: it follows two best friends, Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn), rebuilding a their friendship on Christmas Eve. For many years, they have grown apart and basically living their own lives. Kumar still doing drugs and getting high half of the time while Harold tries to impress his father-in-law. However, through some unexpected events, Harold's Christmas tree, specially grown by his father-in-law, burns and hence, Harold and Kumar goes on an adventure to find an almost identical tree.

My friends, who are auditioning, invited me to round 2 auditions taping. I asked one of my friends to come with me as I believed that he'd enjoy it. However, I wasn't entirely sure because the producers had requested everyone to stay for the entire 3-hour taping.

When I arrived at The Centre, where the show was held, there was quite a long (but fast) line-up outside for first come, first served tickets. Inside the lobby, everyone was hyped up, creating a nervous but exciting atmosphere. Tim Hortons, one of the sponsors, provided cheering signs for us to customize in which I made one for my friends.

The judges were Martin Short, Measha Brueggergosman (was wondering how her last name was spelt), and Stephan Moccio. I'm not going into the details of the showcases as that would ruin the surprise, but some took my breath away, some were very entertaining, and some were just fun to watch. (So that gives you some idea!) Since this was a taping, there was a (very long) wait between each audition. During this time, the stage was swept and the judges' make up was touched up, which I was actually quite surprised to see that it was done so often. After a complimentary coffee from Tim Hortons during the intermission, I was re-energized for the last several showcases. However, I did realized that I was cheering with my sign upside down for awhile. I hope it wasn't caught on on video!

We were only allowed to take pictures before the show started,
so I only have a picture of the stage.

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC. I enjoy trying new things, learning new things, exploring new places, meeting new people as well as reconnecting with old friends. I'm always a little curious and I absolutely love the 4Fs: Family, Friends, Food, Fun, and the universal language: Music.

My Favourites:

Don't get me wrong. I also love being active and some sports I enjoy include swimming, skiing, snowboarding, hot yoga, and running.

I like learning about new products on the market, hence I love reviewing products. I enjoy sharing great products with my friends, my family and of course, my readers.

The Reason for Giving Birth...

...to this blog:

No, this is not my first time blogging. I had a xanga blog before, which was more for myself/friends, but I am no longer a fan of xanga now. Everyone I "subscribed" to on xanga quit, and so it wasn't as interesting and I left mine in the past as well. However, I do enjoy blogging for myself occasionally because I find that writing out your feelings and whatever you have inside of you, really helps with your mental state of mind, sometimes. There are some things that just need to be written down on paper, or typed out.

Now, I do want my blog to be read. After all, that's what blogging is all about - sharing.
